Dr. Christine Brozowski returns to Ketchum in June and July and will bring her Ultherapy equipment with her. Ultherapy is a non-invasive Ultrasound treatment that stimulates collagen at the level of the fascia to tighten and lift skin of the face, neck and decollete.
Dr. Brozowski will also bring her Clear+Brilliant machine to Ketchum for the first time. Clear+Brilliant uses laser energy to stimulate collagen in the skin, providing skin turnover to freshen the skin and prevent signs of aging.

Here are some tips we share with out patients who have scheduled a treatment with injectables such as filler, Scuptra, Kybella or resorbable thread lift.
To Prevent Bruising:
1. Discontinue all blood-thinners including baby aspirin, Ibuprofen*, Aleve, Fish oils and (possibly) vitamin supplements.
2. Eat a pineapple and/or take oral Bromelain* the evening before and morning of procedure.
3. Do not drink wine or any alcoholic beverage within 24 hours of procedure.
4. Come in early to ice a full 15 minutes before procedure (note: this is not for pain management, it causes vasoconstriction of blood vessels. When vessels are smaller, there is less chance of injuring them with a needle and if punctured, they bleed less, resulting in less bruising).
5. Ice after procedure for a full 10-15 minutes in the office, and then as much as possible over the next 24 hours.
6. Start oral Arnica before procedure.
We are pleased to introduce Clear+Brilliant Laser treatment to our office procedures. Clear+Brilliant stimulates collagen, improves skin texture and pore size, rejuvenates the skin and slows the aging process. Additionally, the Clear+Brilliant device has a Permea procedure, which treats pigmented brown sun and age spots with a different handpiece and wavelength. There is NO downtime with Clear+Brilliant; it is truly a 'lunchtime procedure.' Several treatments are required to achieve optimal results. Dr. Brozowski is at the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Dermatology Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada June 9-12th, and will be out-of-the-office. We are excited to announce that Dr. Brozowski is opening her own medical office at 191 Sun Valley Road, in Ketchum, one block West of Main Street. This is the Fisher Building, formerly the US Bank Building. Dr. Brozowski's office is on the second floor at Suite 201. There is plenty of parking both in the building and on the street. There is a large waiting room on the second level, as well as a smaller waiting room inside the doctor's suite. You may sit wherever you are most comfortable, but please check in at Suite 201 first.

Happy Easter! We want to spotlight two women helping our community and bringing joy to troubled San Franciscans: the nuns of Fraternite Notre Dame Mary of Nazareth Soup Kitchen. We are proud to donate to their mission of feeding the homeless in the Tenderloin. In February, the sisters were faced with eviction when their landlord increased their rent $2,000/month. The nuns sell French pastries at local farmers' markets to raise money towards providing meals for the homeless, and they were unable to meet the increased rent demands. Thanks to donor fund-raising, 3 days ago, the Fraternite Notre Dame was able to purchase a new soup kitchen location. With news today focused so much on gun violence and terrorism, it is refreshing and heart-warming to learn of compassionate and selfless helpers, making our community a better, happier place to be.
