Dr. Christine Brozowski's main Cosmetic Dermalogy practice is located in Berkeley, California and she spends majority of her time practicing here. Dr. Brozowski obtained her California Physician's & Surgeon's Medical License in 1997 and has been a resident of Berkeley since 1998.  Our office is open Monday-Friday starting at 8:30am.  Note that Wednesday is an administrative day for the doctor, and only our Aesthetician services are available.  We close early on Friday, at 2pm. While Dr. Brozowski works part-time out of a satellite office in Ketchum, Idaho, her staff (Office Manager, Mary & Aesthetician, Hanan),  remain in California.  Mary and Hanan will serve as your main contacts to assist you with scheduling, information on treatments and services, and pricing.  They will also call you to follow-up on your treatment. They both have extensive knowledge of all our of procedures as well as Skin Care.  You are welcome to stop by any time for assistance with Skin Care products.

Directions

The medical office of Dr. Christine Brozowski is located at 2999 Regent Street, a large medical building across from the Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, just north of the Oakland border in the San Francisco Bay Area.  We are at the intersection of Regent Street and Ashby Avenue, between Telegraph Avenue and College Avenue, in Berkeley. There is parking in the building, which we validate for a reduced rate.  Find us on the fifth floor in Suite 520. 

 
 

We encourage patients coming to the office to consider the use of an alternative to the automobile. Tips for biking, walking, or taking public transportation to the office are given below, following the driving directions.

We recommend that all new patients arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork. We have a comfortable waiting room with a variety of reading material, magazines and an album of Before/After pictures to occupy you until your appointment. Feel free to arrive early!

From San Francisco:

Take I-80 East and exit at Ashby Avenue in Berkeley. Drive East for approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto Regent Street. Parking will be on your left. Please bring your parking ticket into the office, as we validate parking in the building for a reduced rate.

From Albany and the North:

Take I-80 west to Berkeley and exit at Ashby Avenue. Go East for approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto Regent Street. Parking will be on your left. Please bring your parking ticket into the office, as we validate parking in the building for a reduced rate.

From Piedmont, Oakland and the South:

Take Hwy. 24 to the 51st Street exit. Turn right onto 51st Street, in Oakland then left onto Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley; turn right onto Ashby Avenue, then right again onto Regent Street. Parking will be on your left.  Please bring your parking ticket into the office, as we validate parking in the building for a reduced rate.

From Walnut Creek, Orinda and the East:

Take Highway 24 to the Telegraph Avenue exit. Turn right onto Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. Turn right onto Ashby Avenue, in Berkeley, then turn right again onto Regent Street. Parking will be on your left. Please bring your parking ticket into the office, as we validate parking in the building for a reduced rate.

Biking

The office is just a few blocks west of the Hillegass Street 'Bicycle Boulevard' in Berkeley, which provides easy access from Elmwood, Rockridge, Oakland, and Piedmont, as well as from the UC Berkeley campus. Safe routes are also available from many other parts of the Oakland-Berkeley-Albany area.

Once you've arrived, you can leave your bike in a secure, covered bicycle rack inside the parking garage attached to the building. This rack is located immediately to the right of the parking attendant station. Additional secured bike racks are in front of our building.

Remember that bicycles can be taken on BART trains (although access is restricted at certain times) and all bus routes serving the vicinity of the office. For details see the websites listed below.

Public Transportation

The office is well served by public transportation, both BART and AC Transit buses.

BART

The office is about a 15 minute walk from the Ashby BART station and slightly more (20 minutes) from the Rockridge, Oakland station.

A free shuttle van runs between the Ashby station and the Alta Bates Medical Center every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday, from 5:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. A free shuttle van runs between the Rockridge station and the Alta Bates Medical Center every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, from 5:45 a.m. to 9 p.m.

AC transit

Lines 40, 6, 51, and 43 all serve the vicinity of the office. All buses on these routes are equipped with bicycle racks, so a bike/bus combination is possible.
